CLASS BREAKDOWN:

My classes consist of 5 parts.

I. WARM-UP:
We'll start out by getting your blood flowing, heart rate up, and getcha into the groove!
II. HIP HOP/FUNK:
Now we really start moving. Bigger is better! 15 minutes of funky and bouncy movement to get your brain working and sweat dripping.
III. GENRE (Salsa, Cha Cha, Disco, etc.):
I do 15 minutes of a genre of dance. I break it down slowly to make sure everyone gets it and then we rock it out! GET THOSE HIPS MOVIN!
IV. MUSIC VIDEO:
The last section of my class makes you feel like you're a back up dancer for your favourite pop star!
A little trickier than the rest of the class, with less repetition and more patterning, but even more rewarding when you nail it!
V. COOL DOWN:
Last but not least, we bring our heart rate down and celebrate our success with a GROOVE! This part of the class is for you! Simple, repetitive footwork allows you to forget about what your feet are doing and concentrate on feeling good about the hour you just spent working out.
Wait... this is working out? But, I was just dancing!?
